The upper body of skiing is generally dressed in three layers: base layer, middle layer, and outer layer. The basic selection principle is: the inner layer is warm and perspiration-wicking, the middle layer is warm and breathable, and the outer layer is windproof and rainproof. This ski guide focuses on the outer layer of ski clothes. We recommend warm ski clothes or three-in-one ski clothes. Try to avoid white colors, especially the color of the back, which should be as obvious as possible, so that it is easier to be seen by other skiers when skiing to avoid collisions.
The outer layer of snowboarding skiing pants and jackets is mainly divided into hard shell (Hardshell), warm (Insulated), three-in-one (3-in-1), soft shell (Softshell).
Hard shell ski jacket: windproof and rainproof, but thin, can be worn outside your down jacket, adding a windproof and rainproof layer, similar to the role of a raincoat;
Warm ski suit: a warm layer is added inside the hard shell, which is both windproof and waterproof, and warm. Therefore, if you choose a warm ski coat, you don’t need to wear your down jacket. This is the style we recommend the most.
Three-in-one ski suit: similar to a warm ski suit, but the liner can be removed and can be worn alone;
Soft shell ski suit: uses softer materials than hard shell ski suits, still has a certain degree of waterproofness, but the waterproof ability is far less than that of hard shells, and the windproof ability is greatly reduced. This type of ski suit is becoming less and less.
When buying a skiing suit, you can consider buying it together with ski pants, so that the color matching may be more reasonable. At the same time, don’t forget to buy skis (snowboards or double skis).
Ski clothing and precautions

Skiing Although this is one of the leisure activities that can be enjoyed easily, it is also one of the sporting events. Avoid clothing that restricts physical movement in your ski attire.
Also, be careful not to wear too thick clothes please. After actual skiing, it's a good idea to be prepared to make adjustments, such as adding an inner layer or switching to a thicker layer when the weather gets colder.
Be careful about wearing underwear made of moisture-absorbing and heating fibers.
Skiing is a sport that requires you to move your body, so you'll sweat more than you think. Sweating too much while wearing moisture-wicking, heat-producing fabrics may make you feel cold instead!
Please change underwear as soon as possible after sweating.
